Three days, 35 degrees and five wins in the group stage. Grupa Transportowa finished the Charity Cup 2026 in Arłamów in third place, losing only the semi-finals to ORBITEO 0:1. The tournament combined the sports competition of companies with a specific goal - nearly PLN 2.6 million collected to support the mental health of children and young people.

The Charity Cup is not an ordinary company tournament. This is an event in which the result on the pitch translates into something much more important than the table. This year, Grupa Transportowa went to Arłamów to play for those in need again and have fun at the same time. In the end, our team placed on the lowest step of the podium, but before we get to that, let's see what the tournament looks like and where it all started.Charity Cup 2026 - what is this tournament
The Charity Cup is an initiative in which the business community meets on the pitch to raise money for a social cause. The organizers of this year's edition were ZPUE S.A. and the "We Are Close" Foundation, and the co-organizer was the Wybiegaj w Przyszłości Foundation. The initiator of the project is Michał Wypychewicz, CEO of Koronea Family Office. This year's third edition took place in Arłamów and focused on the mental health of children and young people. The formula has grown from a football tournament to a sports Olympics - the program included football, volleyball, padel, tennis, golf, climbing and archery, among others. The event was attended by nearly 500 participants from dozens of companies. The amount raised is nearly PLN 2.6 million. The funds will go to free psychological assistance for children and young people and to programs supporting young athletes.
Group stage: five matches, five wins
Grupa Transportowa went to Group C. We played five games and won all of them. Goal record 11:1 and first place in the group with a set of 15 points. Quarter-finals and semi-finals
In the quarterfinals we met R.POWER S.A. The match was decided quickly and unambiguously - 5:1 for Grupa Transportowa and promotion to the best four of the tournament. In the semifinals, ORBITEO S.A. was waiting - a team that, like us, came out of its group with a set of victories. The match was even until the last seconds, but it was the rivals who took their opportunity. We lost 0:1 and said goodbye to the fight for the final.Match for third place: rematch with ZPUE
After the semi-finals, there was little time left to think. In the match for the bronze medal, we again faced ZPUE S.A. - a team that we had already defeated in the group stage. This time one goal was enough. A 1-0 win, a bronze medal and third place in the Charity Cup 2026. "After the semi-finals, there was a disappointment, because we had a bigger appetite. But a true athlete is recognized by how he handles defeat, not by how he wins. The guys raised their heads and went to the bronze medal match as if nothing had happened.
