Grupa Transportowa received the title of Laureate of the European Economic Award 2026. The distinction was awarded by the Program Jury of the International Economic Forum, organized by the European Center for Economic Development. The Jury appreciated the consistent transformation of the company into a modern, integrated logistics operator with an international scale of operation. In the justification, it indicated the development of competences throughout the supply chain, the use of technology and artificial intelligence to increase operational efficiency, and a business model combining specialization, responsible development and high standards of service. This distinction is of particular value to us due to the justification. In it, the Jury described the direction in which we consistently develop the company: from the organization of transport to the management of the entire logistics process of the customer, both in Poland and abroad.
From transportation to process management
The Jury paid particular attention to the development path of the Transport Group and the expansion of competences beyond the traditionally understood transport. We can see this in conversations with customers. They rarely need the transport of goods from point A to B. They are looking for a partner who will integrate individual elements of the supply chain and take responsibility for them. That is why over the years we have been developing new areas: road forwarding, warehousing and distribution, sea, air and rail freight, ferry crossings, insurance and customs clearance. In the opinion of the Jury, this is a well-thought-out transformation of the business model, which allows us to respond to the needs of companies operating in many markets at the same time.
Technology and AI in Daily Operations
An important element of the decision was the use of technology and artificial intelligence to increase operational efficiency. The TSL industry is undergoing a profound change. Today, data, automation, algorithms and fast decision-making are as important as fleet and infrastructure. In our work, technology helps us plan processes more precisely, use resources better and react faster in situations that just a few years ago required much greater involvement of the operations team.Quality-based business model
The jury also appreciated the business model combining specialization, responsible development and high standards of service. In logistics, timeliness, safety and quality of cooperation translate directly into the functioning of customers. Therefore, long-term advantage is determined by the quality of processes, responsibility for the operations carried out and business relationships built over the years.
