Grupa Transportowa remains the official logistics partner of the Tour de Pologne and all events organized by the Lang Team. In 2026, we will serve the 83rd edition of the UCI WorldTour, Tour de Pologne Women, Junior, ORLEN Lang Team Race and ORLEN Tour de Pologne Amateurs. The scale of the challenge is growing. Check out why the Tour de Pologne is much more than a classic partnership for us.

We remain the official logistics partner of the 83. Tour de Pologne

Grupa Transportowa continues its cooperation with Lang Team and in 2026 he is again responsible for the logistics facilities of the largest cycling spectacle in Poland. We will serve 83. Tour de Pologne UCI WorldTour and all other events organized by Czesław Lang and his team - with a fleet of 32 trucks and twice the operational scale of a year ago.

The Great Race Needs Great Logistics

When the best cyclists in the world set off from Gdynia towards Wieliczka on August 3, there will be Grupa Transportowabehind the scenes of the whole operation, as in the previous year. The organization of the UCI WorldTour race is a project in which every element must work perfectly. From the starting town, through the security systems, to the finish line. Logistics is not the background here - it is one of the foundations that determines the smoothness and security of the competition. That is why we are glad that Lang Team has once again bet on a proven partner. We continue our cooperation and enter the 83rd edition of the race with full responsibility.

Scale of the challenge: twice as large as a year ago

This year's edition of the Tour de Pologne will be held under the slogan "North-South" and will lead the peloton across Poland — from the seaside city of Gdynia, celebrating its 100th anniversary, to the final individual time trial in Wieliczka on August 9. This is a route that, from a logistical perspective, means one thing: twice as many kilometers to travel as in the previous year. Numbers that reflect the scale of the operation
  • 32 trucks and crews on the road across the country
  • Twice as many kilometers to cover as in the 2025 edition
  • More than 650 meters of BOPLAN barriers set up at every stage
  • 5 events under the Lang Team banner operated by our fleet
  • 65 countries of the world where the broadcast of the race goes

Tour de Pologne as an annual operational test

For us, the Tour de Pologne is much more than a classic sponsorship partnership. This is a project that raises the bar for us every year – and that is why it is so valuable. "Sticking to the cycling nomenclature – this year's Tour de Pologne is the next stage of our journey together. It's more than sponsorship – it's an annual field operational test. Coordinating the logistics of such a complex venture, with multiple service points, changing schedules, and time pressure, teaches us things that no commercial project can replace. The experience from last year allowed us to act faster and more confidently. This translates directly into the quality with which we serve our customers - because the ability to manage complexity in conditions of unpredictability is one of the most valuable competencies in logistics." Tomasz Macherowski, President of the Management Board of Grupa Transportowa

Preparations started at the beginning of the year

At an event of this rank, there is no room for improvisation. That is why we started working on the logistics of the 83rd edition in January – so that everything was buttoned up to the last button for the start in Gdynia. "Operating such a large event is associated with a number of operational challenges - both from the hardware and the more human one. This is especially important for this year's edition – twice as many kilometers to drive as last year means a proportionally larger scale of the entire logistics of the backyard. For me as Chief Operating Officer, the Tour de Pologne is an annual test – and one of those projects that really raises the bar for all our day-to-day operations." Violetta Kaczmarek, Chief Operating Officer of the Transport Group

Rider safety in our hands

One of the key tasks of a logistics partner is the transport of security infrastructure. Specifically, the special BOPLAN protection systems from Belgium to Polish. The UCI WorldTour Tour de Pologne pioneers the use of impact-absorbing barriers and totems that optimally protect riders at finishes and at critical points on the route. At each stage, over 650 meters of such protection are deployed. This highlights the scale of the logistics endeavor for which we are responsible. " Thousands of kilometers, hundreds of stops, dozens of people in the field - and everything synchronized with the rhythm of a race that does not wait. Drivers and coordinators operate in a regime of constant time pressure and precision. There is practically no margin for error - any stumble would immediately affect the race. This is the biggest responsibility in my team's work. And that's why, when we reach the finish line of the last stage, that satisfaction is irreplaceable." Marcin Koprek, Fleet Manager of the Transport Group

Continuing to work together is not only our decision – it is also the trust we receive from the Lang Team. "I am very happy that our logistics partner remains Grupa Transportowa. A good logistics plan is the basis for organizing our events, and the commitment and many years of experience of the Transport Group are invaluable to us in this aspect. It is also particularly important to us that it is a Polish company. At Lang Team, we have always focused on quality, but also on the promotion of our country on the international arena." Polish 4PL operator at a global event

As a Polish 4PL logistics operator with a global reach, we are consistently building our presence at world-class events. For us, the Tour de Pologne is a project that combines everything that is most important in our work: scale, time pressure, responsibility for safety and the need to react immediately to changing conditions. These are competencies that we use every day to serve our business clients. And that is why the Tour de Pologne is more than a sporting event for us - it is a real test that raises our operational standards.
